New Mexico Medicaid to hold online public meetings on long term care provider rates

Stakeholders invited to provide input on rate development for community benefit program 

SANTA FE — New Mexico Medicaid will hold public meetings for stakeholders interested in the process of establishing long-term care rates for the Agency-Based Community Benefit (ABCB) program. This program delivers in-home or community-based health care services to elderly New Mexicans and those with disabilities, allowing them to avoid institutional care settings.   

During these meetings, Medicaid will: 

  • Gather information and insights from provider on ABCB service delivery. 
  • Obtain feedback on underlying service cost assumptions that will be used in rate development.  

Two virtual Townhall meetings will be held July 24, 2024: 

  1. Assisted Living Facility services 
    Time: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. MST
