Child support payments now easier with no-fee online & phone service

State launches Point & Pay to streamline payments for New Mexico families

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Child Support Services Division is making it easier than ever for parents to fulfill their child support obligations with the introduction of Point & Pay, a new no-fee online and phone payment service available now.

“We are committed to making the payment process as easy and efficient as possible for our customers to ensure their children receive the financial assistance they need,” said Betina Gonzales McCracken, director of the New Mexico Child Support Services Division. “The new Point & Pay platform will provide a user-friendly experience with no additional costs to customers.”

Child support customers who currently use E-Bill Express for recurring payments need to transition to Point & Pay to avoid any interruptions in their payments. E-Bill Express will no longer be supported after September 30, 2024, meaning payments must be made through Point and Pay moving forward.

While setting up a new account in Point & Pay is recommended for ongoing convenience, the new system allows for one-time payments without creating an account, making the process flexible for all users.

What child support customers need to know:

  • E-Bill Express will remain available until Sept. 30, 2024. After that, payments must be made through Point & Pay.
  • Customers should set up a new account on Point & Pay to avoid any interruptions in their payments.
  • All customers must have their child support case ID and member ID for transactions.
  • Payments by phone can be made through the HCA Consolidated Customer Service Center (CCSC) toll free number, 1-800-283-4465.
  • There are no fees for using Point & Pay, and payments can be made 24/7. The cutoff time for processing is 11:59 p.m. MT.

A list of frequently asked questions is available on the Point & Pay website to assist customers. For more information, please contact HCA at 1-800-283-4465, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

“Our team is here to help ensure a smooth transition to the new payment system,” Gonzales McCracken added.
