Standing Orders
To decrease barriers to access, the New Mexico Department of Health has issued standing orders for appropriately licensed pharmacists to dispense select OTC and prescription items. Standing orders are currently available for:
The Health Care Authority may expand the list of covered OTC items after making a specific determination that it is overall more economical (NMAC 8.324.4.12.A)
