The DDSD Pre-Service Intake Bureau is comprised of the Central Registry and the Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) units.
Central Registry
The Central Registry Unit is responsible for the Central Registry database and the Wait List for DD Waiver. This includes processing DD (HCBS) applications, determining whether the applicant meets the HCA established DD criteria, and managing the allocation process for the DD Waiver.
Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review
The Pre-Admission Screening & Resident Review (PASRR) unit manages the federal PASRR program which requires that individuals be screened for mental illness, intellectual disability or related conditions which affect intellectual functioning, prior to admission to a Medicaid certified nursing facility.
